The word 'love'. We hear it used almost everyday , and everywhere , it is used so much that we take it's meaning for granted, or do not understand it altogether. The question that needs to be answered is, what really is love? Was love created so that hate can be kept at bay? Is love something that both males and females hope for when their world comes crashing down on them? Does love help relieve the pain and suffering experienced by many humans on a daily basis?

Venus and Cupid were well know as the gods of love and sex by both the Greeks and Romans at a very early point in modern history, which essentially makes love a very old topic. Yet this still does not answer the question, what exactly is love? If you were to flip refer to a dictionary, love would be defined as, "a strong feeling of affection or attraction resulting from sexual attraction" but does sex, and physical attraction only define the meaning of love ? To many people, love is a feeling that can never be defined. One can only experience love in order to fully understand love. At the most basic level, we all yearn to believe that love is pure, love is from the heart, love is special; is it really true or is it just that we fear loneliness? The answer to that can only be found within ourselves and those we adore.

Such intense adoration inevitably produces the wish for "true Love" Does true love really exist? The ultimacy of true love is the thing that keeps couples going, throughout their lives. The simplest of things that one does for him or her gets them love and happiness in return. True love is a gift, though finding it may be hard, maintaning it is harder than anyone can imagine. We all at some point in our lives struggle in search of it. True love means happiness for your partner even if it means sacrifice on your part. As much as we would want to deny it, we do sacrifice alot for love. Something as small as acquiescence during a heated argument, can prevent the hurtful breaking of relationships and of hearts. Love is omnipresent
