The outcomes or criteria should Domino's Pizza measure to determine if CD-ROM training is an effective method for teaching new employees how to stretch pizza dough to fit a 12-inch pan is the length of the durations of the lesson. It is because the durations must follow the detailed to make dough. It should not have a skip anything that the trainer do because it can make the trainee not understand or misunderstanding about the training information. Another criterion is the step of make dough must complete and detail. It must show from the beginning until the end of the procedure. In the CD-ROM also must show the ingredients that they use in detailed. The quality CD-ROM can be as criteria to measure if CD-ROM is an effective or not.
The expertise of make dough would be involved in the evaluation because they know more about the procedure to make dough. Therefore, they can know what are the important to make a CD-ROM more effectively. However, not just the expertise of make dough only involved in the evaluations but the expertise about the using CD-ROM because they the one that know about how to use a CD-ROM effectively.
b) Describe the evaluation design you would recommend using to determine if CD-ROM training is more effective than on the job training.
A CD-ROM is a storage media that has a better longevity for storing data in a moderately small space, when added to the fact that they can be stacked in a small space the amount of storage per cubic foot goes up. It more effective than on the job training because it can more store a large amount of information which is easily accessible on a computer. Nowadays, a computer is one of tools that important that all people need and use. The information will easy to update than we using on the job training method. By using the CD-ROM, the employee can always study how to make dough at anytime and anywhere.
