We usually hear people say that I am preparing for something. Maybe in their mind, get prepared is a process of action. However, I prefer to regard it as a kind of attitude towards life. Have you ever heard about a maxim goes like this--"opportunity is only for the person who is well-prepared"? Everyone knows that opportunity is crucial for one's success. So people make every effort to prepare for chances. But can they? Will the opportunity wait for us to be well-prepared? On the country, we should always be well-prepared at any moment in our life; otherwise, there would be endless regret. I myself am a good example. I have always been thinking of join a debate team. Unfortunately, I never train myself on this debating stuff. Then one day, I saw a notice which said that the EDS(English Debate Society) was recruiting new members. I was so happy that I went to attend the interview directly. And I remember how blue I was after the interview. I was so dwarfed by so many excellent competitors. It seemed that they were so professional and so suited to be a debater. I regretted for quit a few days for I had lost the precious chance to realize my little dream. Since then, I always prepared in advance lest that I should miss another chance or disappoint myself again. Success is to me is what medal is to athletes. Sportsmen put themselves in practice everyday, and I think that is exactly what I need to do. If there is no accident, a well-prepared player would undoubtedly gain himself a metal. Just the same as that, don't you think I can catch the opportunity accessing to success if I too am well-prepared?
