A Trend That Caused Woodbridge to Evolve
- Introduction
Healthcare is evolving constantly, doctors, nurses, ER facilities, Hospitals, Insurance companies and so many more are being affected by this trend, there is different software being created on a daily basis to make a patient’s information readily available to their next health care provider. For years it went back and forth between the powers that be what it should be called. Some called it EMR (Electronic Medical Records), others say they believe it would be better to call it EHR (Electronic Health Records). That fight continues, but many smaller clinics have decided that EHR fits them and the data they record.
There are so many different patient data software today, to know exactly which one to choose is probably the biggest challenge, but as long as you use it the powers that be will stand by you. Is it costly? Most definitely. Who is going to pay for it? In a nutshell we all are, this trend records patient data and leaves it in the palm of your hand.
