Aaron Kadoch is a Professor, Planner, Architect as well as a Craftsman and an Artist. He recognizes the interconnection of all design disciplines as a necessary unified force in creating inspiring, meaningful, site specific and community specific works of art and architecture. His design and educational philosophy are one and the same; a life of architecture is a perpetual learning process and an evolution of the creative, professional self. Aaron strives to educate his students and the public with each project, be they academic or professional. The Integration of how we teach, why we teach and what we prepare our students for, will ultimately effect how our society evolves and what we determine to be the lasting qualities of our built environment.
Aaron believes in a natural framework of design that focuses on 6 main parameters: 1: Cultural and Historical Connections, 2: Sustainable Land and Natural Resource Design, 3: Technology Integration, 4: Natural Materials and Traditional Craft, 5; A Systems Integrated Design and Construction Process and 6; Providing Professional Project Management, Planning and Design Service. These principles and parameters are a framework for creating sustainable, built environments that improve design and construction methodologies and achieve an integrated design-build and project management process.
Aaron has founded The Organic Architecture Guild as a platform to research and develop the tools for students, communities, designers, developers and all project stakeholders so that we as individual communities can improve the quality, economics and benefits of holistic, organic, sustainable design. His research comes out of his professional planning, design, project management and construction experience and strives to reconnect broken linkages in the dynamic process of creating the built environment.
