Lead generation plan is a marketing strategy which makes use of the internet to inform and sell products of a company as well as reaching and attracting new customers. An effective lead generation plan is formed from a good plan of an effective internet sales funnel. An internet marketing funnel is a market strategy which involves constant funneling of new leads it ones business aiming at establishing sales and affiliations with the users of your products. The lead generation plan is to be initially used on M-Shwari product marketing project.
To start with the marketing team manning the project will upgrade the CBA website by reviewing all the products and making available on it article, newsletters product tips and other valuable contents. The marketers will use the Adobe Marketing Cloud as the lead capture software and analyze online information concerning the products so as to optimize customer engagement and identify new business opportunity that the bank needs to exploit. To get attention of the target demographics who are mainly business people and other working population, the marketer will make use of the social media and blogs to gather leads. These include Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, Google Search Engines, online advertisement, article directories and also will make the website to be an affiliate marketer (Lord, Bob, and Ray Velez). The website will be customized in a way that it will have a financial information page which will be updated on daily basis. The page will equip users with general financial knowledge and will be made available through links on the selected social media and blogs. A click on the link will redirect you to the CBA website where the user will be prompted to sign up for more information. The end goal of this plan is to gather as many leads as possible. This will ensure that the marketing team obtains as many client contacts as possible for them to be able to make calls to the customer to enhance customer service.
