Apple and Samsung Lawsuit

Personally I believe if Apples accusations towards Samsung are true they should be filing these lawsuits because they are profiting off of Apples ideas that they have patents on. It appears on the surface that a lot of Samsung's products are similar to the products that Apple has put out but Samsung is also accusing Apple of using some its ideas. If Apple wins the newest lawsuits I think it's going to make Samsung look very bad because it appears they are just copying Apples ideas with no new ideas of its own. If Samsung wins then it makes it seem like it is going both ways and I don't believe the image of either will really be hurt by it. As far as Apples strategy here I think they are already the most dominate and they are trying to show competitors not to try and duplicate what they are doing but rather come up with their own completely new ideas. If they succeed there would be no similar products to what Apple is putting out and they would be profiting even more then they are now. As far as the consumer's attitudes towards each I don't believe they will really change much, if you are an Apple user and that is what you like you're just going to keep buying the products. If you prefer Samsung you probably just think Apple is attacking all competition and unless the products you want aren't be allowed anymore they will still stick with the products they have always bought. Many people including myself probably are not following these lawsuits very close and won't change their attitudes unless it affects the products they want or currently have.
