- Need for Installation
to safe guard the material being transported and to lower the risk in transportation.
- Pain points of the customer in current solution
The below points explain the problems being faced by the customer in the current solution:
- opening of the door lock by hacking into the wire system
Solution: the lock is upgraded to a smart lock, it opens using an encrypted pulse which would be sent by the device only.
- Operating the door in case there is no GPRS or GSM network in the area
Solution: the Smart lock has an in-built BLE. If the GSM/GPRS network is not available in the area, then lock can operated by mobile application using BLE communication.
- Low network coverage of the available SIM
Solution: To Overcome this factor, we are giving a criterion of e-SIM in the device which can automatically switch to a strong network in case of network issues.
- Long Installation Time
Solution: In order to minimize the installation time from a current of 4 hours, we have a ready structure for the lock to be welded to the truck door.
- How to minimize the risk
this risk can be minimized by installing the trucks with a solution that ensures the safeguard of the material being transported and letting the fleet owner know of all the activities going on in the real time.
through traca-lock the fleet owner can access all the information of the driver and the vehicles.
