Brain Cancer
Dear Caring Families,
When my cousin was three, doctors found a brain tumor the size of a Ping-Pong ball in her skull. Fortunately, they were able to remove it. She now lives a full flourishing life. Some people have not been as lucky. I also have a friend who's mom suffered from a brain tumor. Unfortunately she still has mental defects such as distorted speech and troubles hearing. What would you do if you lost someone close to you? It would be hard for anyone to struggle in life without a loved friend or family member. Brain cancer is a life threatening disease that takes hundreds of lives each year. You should donate to the National Brain Tumor Society because you would help pay for medical expenses for those in need. You can help fund additional research on brain tumors. And finally, by donating to the NBTS you can help raise brain cancer awareness.
Brain tumors are growths inside your skull. Over 3,400 children are diagnosed with brain cancer each year. Of that, 2,600 are under the age of 15 years old. On average, 13,000 of teens and young adults are killed by a brain tumor each year because they did not have the proper funding. By donating, you can help with the funding that is essential with dealing with brain tumors. Procedures such as surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy can be a large financial expense for families who may not have the wealth to deal with brain cancer.
The second reason why you should contribute is when you give to the National Brain Tumor Society, you are helping with necessary research in association with brain cancer. Without proper resources, research tends to be rather limited without the ability to go into depth with investigations relating to brain tumors. With the right funding, scientists might be able to prevent tumors from growing inside the skull. They could even find a cure to shrink the entire tumor away. That's where the kindhearted families such as those reading this letter come in. You can truly make a difference with the intensive research for brain cancer.
There is one final reason why you should give to the cause. By donating you are able to raise awareness. Problems with brain cancer start with problems with brain cancer awareness. You can help raise awareness in Americans by donating. Visit www.braintumor.org. From there click the 'donate' tab to submit your generous donation. Other ways to raise awareness is to participate in fundraisers and events related to brain cancer. Get involved with the National Brain Tumor Society to help those in need.
In all, brain cancer is a very serious disease. Fortunately, you can help by donating to help with medical expenses, raise awareness, and help research. Any donation in helpful for those struggling to fight this illness. Take action and donate to the National Brain Tumor Society. Thank you for reading
