Catalog Description (from the credit course outline):
This course is designed to build an understanding of the market economy, the business environment, other economic systems, and the organization, management, and operation of business enterprises. The course includes such topics as understanding the economy, how businesses are formed and managed, human relations, producing and marketing a product or service, the financial markets and securities, governmental relationships, understanding the financial media, and other similar areas. The course is a foundation for the business student.
