Gone are the days when manufactures set expectations to produce and succeed with minimal to no current technological advancements. In the identification of the business requirements, it is important to uncover actual processes and redundant behavior within the Riordan Manufacturing Company's inventory management and control. When these particular items are identified, we can start to eliminate the small things that create the Riordan unnecessary expenses. Incorporating advanced technology Riordan Industries can experience more up to date methods of limiting paper trails. To ensure longevity of this company, it is essential to integrate some well-organized business practices. Riordan Manufacturing is a well-established company, but is unhurried to reacting to change. A new, implemented plan will keep this company up, running, and lasting for many years to come. The first necessity is to cut out the intermediary persons and create a more free flowing transaction for a better work process. Creating a better process by using handheld scanners instead of a human will result in faster outcomes. Employees slow down production of inventory whether it is in shipping or receiving. In recent years, there has been an ever-increasing desire for technological advancement in companies of every size. As technology evolves, business processes change as well as the companies implanting those changes. It seems that businesses staying current with technology are able to succeed and grow superior than those who don't. Companies are opting out of paper trails and promoting computerized databases to track information more effectively. Clearly, technology has flaws as well, but the likelihood is much more slim, and the products produced by machines have generally been more consistent, uniform, and accurate than their human counter parts. Scanners will track the time shipments leave, what is included in the shipment, and the estimated time of arrival. The scanner will also confirm the shipments and immediately get the shipments out to customers upon arrival. Furthermore, the use of barcodes is an exceptional option because it allows the company to be updated in terms of technological advancements in today's ever growing world of technology. Converting to a more up-to-date system will enhance company's overall productivity and efficiency. Remaining current is very essential being that, Riordan Manufacturing is a global competitor in the plastic industry. In addition to being current, strategic planning and changes with this new addition will permit Riordan Manufacturing to out-market their competition. This is very imperative, because the business world is a "last man standing" type of system. Ultimately, if Riordan Manufacturing is able to be very efficient with manufacture and deliveries the company will increase its client base, which in turn means future success and growth.
