Aims and Objectives:
This course aims to introduce students the fundamental principles and sources of law, the structure of the Hong Kong legal system, the basic principles of the Law of Contract and the Law of Tort, and to enable them to solve legal problems in practical situations. Court visits and case studies will be arranged to deepen student understanding of the legal principles and system.

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
