Business Model simply describe as the method in which a company will use to make money or revenues. CornCorn Manufacturing Co.' business model is to make money by manufacturing and delivering safe, convenient, affordable and high quality canned organic sweet corn products to our customers. Business only exists if it has customer because they are our source of revenues. We generate revenues through selling products to different customer segments because different customers have different needs to be satisfied. We focusing on selling to those customers who need an affordable and convenient canned corn products for example families need for meal preparation, workers or college student who are busy and need quick meal preparation, and restaurant/desserts shops/food stalls for food business purposes.
In order to deliver to our customers and get our products to the market largely, we use different marketing channels to distribute to our clients. We use an indirect channels such manufacturer-wholesaler-retailer-customer channel and manufacturer-retailer-consumer channel. We sell to wholesalers in a large quantity of our products for example NSK Trading. They normally buy in bulk and then resell to other customers. The products that wholesalers bought will later normally destine for their retailers. Reasons why we provide discounts purchase for our wholesalers is to encourage and increase their high volume buying power at the same time increases bulk sales that can generate more revenues.
Besides, selling to large retailers is the shortest indirect channel that can be reach and deliver to our customers. Nowadays we realize that supermarkets are becoming stronger and powerful than production companies and it's referring to the easiest channel to reach end customer. We sell our canned corn products to large retailers and Supermarkets all over Malaysia for examples Aeon, Giant, Econsave, Tesco and The Store on a retailing basis. By selling to these large retailers we can generate more sales indirectly since many customers will purchase our products in those convenient supermarkets. We also include selling to those mini markets, grocery stores, and speed markets that later sell our products directly to customers in small quantities.
In addition, we also choose to use direct channel to carries our products for the food and beverages business purchaser or end user by using the Internet. CornCorn.com.my, our company website enables our business purchaser for example restaurants, cafes, desserts, food stall to order and purchase our products through online without going through intermediaries and therefore earn time and money saving. This direct channel enables us to serve our customers better at a lower price that can satisfied the price that what our consumers are willing to pay for our canned organic sweet corn products.
