Sports are considered as an important factor that plays gigantic role in our lives. It enables us to have a physique that's capable of adapting ourselves to changes. But changes in our society include drug addiction. Can sports play a one-on-one fight against addiction?

Joining in sporty events would let our brain feel free from thinking unhealthy actions like smoking cigarettes and taking alcoholic drinks. It makes us busy; therefore, it avoids us from wasting a single second of our lives. Sports could be a hypnosis that can make the system of thought of people is the same as that of the most. In addition, we'll find ourselves secured from being tempted to use medicines not prescribed by doctors. And in best cases, people who stick to sports---track events, ballgames, etc. will get to live in a drug-free life.

While it is true that sports can shape up our minds and maintain its natural circulation, the fact that people are lazy enough to get themselves to sports is a problem per se. practically saying, the chance of making them sports enthusiast remains quite impossible.

We cannot rely on sports at all times. We can't always say that sports can cure addiction. Consider those we refer to as "bystanders." Yes, they are always cited on billboard places, to be specific. And they may also play these sports but doesn't necessarily mean that they're real interested in it. We might be all aware that most of them play for bets. In fact, wherever they cling themselves, their nature of being drug addicted cannot just be avoided.

As to conclude, sports may help in rehabilitating oneself for a better and healthy living. But still, questions pop up if sports could lead people to a complete better life. Can sports really stop addiction?
