Capitalism: A Love Story directed by Michael Moore. The mocking documentary film talks about the financial crisis of 2007-2010, and in particular, the recovery stimulus which was brought in by the Bush and Obama administrations. Some topics that are covered includes Wall Street's casino mentally, for-profit prisons, Goldman Sasha influence in Washington, DC, the poverty-leved wages of many works, the large wave of home foreclosures, and the consequences of runway greed.
In the beginning of the film, it starts with a whole bunch of robberies and the ones I found the most funny was the robber with a crutch and the one hanging over the counter. The video then keeps jumping back and forth between the past and the present to show that we have not really changed during the past. All we did is just upgraded on stuff like housing and clothing etc... It goes on showing a bunch of cats flushing the toilets. At first I thought that cats mean nothing, and then I thought about it for a moment. It's true that we as a society flush away our money for no reason, especially the government and the rich. All they do is buy things for themselves. Like why not buy another car just because I can, not that I really need a brand new one every each year. They do not really take care of us low class people because of their selfishness'. It is all about them, not the American people. When the rich are in trouble, the government will help them out by giving them billions of dollars to save them. With all that money, they could have saved a lot of American people.
When a lot of homes where foreclosed the rich saw a way to get more property for a cheaper price and they could sell that property for a much higher price and make a profit out of it. Hundreds of American people have lost their homes to foreclosing and here kicked out of their homes even though they had nowhere else to go. In one part of the video a man thought he had 30 days to move everything as well as leave but then a couple of cops came by and told him that he was to leave the property today around 9. So when the man told the cops that he was to have 30 days their where shock at this news and had to call someone to figure out what was happening. Many of the rich took avenged of this and try to grab as many properties as they could get their hands on. I do not agree how this was handle the government should have try to help the middle and low class people but no they want their selves and the rich to stay rich while they other people where losing their jobs, homes, and sometimes their lives.
In another part of the video a plane crashed and no one survived it. The government blamed the pilots for the crash because the pilots where talking about their jobs and how they had to get a second job to support their family because the government cut their wagers. Their employers took advantage over the people who stayed because they loved their jobs. Now the pilots who
