10 years ago I was in the car accident that could have turned fatal. Going through that

experience definitely change my perception of how a look at safety belts. Before that before

the night of the accident I would've never guessed the that I would be in a serious accident w

where I needed to be strapped down to a seat.

Earlier that night, I was at the skate park, where I had ran into my friend Adam. Before then I

hadn't seen Adam in a few years. The last thing I heard about him is that he got arrested for

trying to steal TVs from a elementary school while his idiot friends were vandalizing the the

school's library. Adam told me he had gotten out of juvenile detention recently and had a job

at Dairy Queen down the street from his apartment. Adam's parents helped him out with one

of those new Kia Sophia four $2001, since he managed to stay out of jail and getting the fast

food job. After chilling out the park for a little bit Adam and I grew bored decided to head to

his apartment to go fill some 40s.

We headed for Adam's car, at the time $2001 for a new car was kind of low so it made me

and had no option but to experience the ride of the Kia Sophia. This car was very basic

manual everything, no tent, cassette tape player and a green green paint job. At the start of

the car ride i reserved my opinion about his car, especially since I didn't own a car; although

Adam on the other hand was quite proud of his first car. He started you started talking about

his car comparing it with Hondas, Nissans, and other little compact cars like he was trying to

sell his car.

After a couple of minutes listening to him brag about his little Sophia. I blurted out, "It's

just a Kia Sophia of surprising even came with the air conditioner for the price you paid for

it. It's cool a got a car now, but you're comparing it with cars that are not even in the same

class with it. I'm kind of surprised that made it out of the parking when you bought it." I think

it's got to his ego a little bit after hearing that.

He responded with, "It's brand-new and it has everything else other cars have. The price

doesn't necessarily mean it's a piece of crap likeeverybody says it is. It is just as good as a

Ford or a Nissan. I have no problems keeping upwith the other cars in traffic and I'm usually

the first person to start off at the light. It'll go 100 miles an hour with out the slightist

hesitation. ".

I noticed as he was saying that he started to drive more aggressively,

accelerating
