Case Study - Listo Systems: The Employees' Impact on the System
By management allowing their employees to be a part of the decision making process, they are giving the employees a sense of worth. The employees feel that they are important and serve a purpose. Management is allowing their employees to share and discuss opinions. When you ask for input on your employee's opinions you are showing them that you care about what they think. This gives them a higher feeling of self-worth, otherwise, known as self-reliance. The employees enjoy their work and are aware of the set goal. The employees felt that the company gave attention to their well-being.
We can also relate to these employees the theory of Motivation-Hygiene. These employees had a motivation because they felt like they were a big part of the company and wanted the company to succeed. Theory Y would help in this situation since it seems to have helped in the past. It seems the company lost sight of what kept the business successful and therefore lost the most important component to keeping the company thriving. These
