Cause and effect essay
Disappointment. Disappointment is one of the worst feelings in the world. I hate to disappoint people and myself. There are plenty of things that disappoint me, just to name a few of them things such as when my best friend and I argue, why I came to Peru State College for basketball, and being thirsty and there is nothing to cold to drink.
When I started my sr. year of high school I wasn't really for sure if I wanted to play basketball in college. As the basketball season progressed I started to receive letters from recruits and Peru State wasn't one of them until the end of the season around state and district time. I was getting looks from a variety of schools throughout the Midwest.
I went on college visits and narrowed my schools down. I had my mind set on Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, MO. That's where I was going to go my mind was made up. Then I realized that I had to retake my ACT and I didn't get the score I needed to go there. So my last resort was Peru State. I talked to the head coach and came down to play some pickup games with the team , just so I could get a feel of what it would be like.

Like the whole team was pumped up during preseason like we were going to go undefeated. That's the first disappointment; we ended our season 5-25. I wasn't expecting that at all.
If we would have just played instead of talked everything like we were the shit, we probably would've won more than five games. I can tell you what the problem was though; we had a compassionate coach who always talked about the year before and her accomplishments. No one wants to hear that.
The second disappointment was when we lost all we ate was McDonalds and we barely ate. We only received a double cheeseburger, small fry, and water. After forty minutes of basketball you expect me to eat that and be full?!? Are you kidding me? When she recruited me these were her exact words "I take care of my players, we eat good on the road." McDonalds isn't good if you ask me.
I understand having a losing season comes along every now and then, but I had intentions of coming to college and winning a championship. College basketball my first year was a major disappointment. I mean MAJOR! I expected to come to college gain a little weight and leave a little bigger; I'm
