The day my twins were born was one of the most memorable moments of my life. It was a scary moment in my life not knowing if my children were going to be healthy. It was a beautiful moment hearing your little cries of life.
My water broke so I called the doctor's office they told me to go to the hospital. I called my mother she was at work so she had to come home to drive me to the hospital, my son Adam stayed with my sisters. When I arrived at the hospital the check need to see if my water had broken, and then they checked me into a room and hooked me up to monitors.
I never went into labor right away I guess that was a good thing because I was only thirty three weeks pregnant. That gave the doctors a chance to give me two shots of steroids that were twelve hours apart from each other. The shots were to help the twin's lungs because they were going to be early. I was also on an IV of antibiotics and on bed rest.
The fifth day of being on bed rest with the day I started to have pains in my stomach it was the day I went into labor. The doctor came in and seen me, and he made the decision to go ahead and take them. I had to have a cesarean or some people say a C-section because I had one without him.
I was taken into an operating room where I was giving a spinal block so I could not feel anything. I was scared because the boys were early and I didn't know if they were going to be healthy. My mom was in the room with me. It felt like it was taking a long time for the doctors to get them out compared to Adam C-section. I finally heard a little cry of baby A who was named Jordan then a minute later the cries of baby B who was named Joseph. At that moment my world grew by two tiny little boys that I love so much.
