To whom it may concern,

I bought a vacuum from Lowes seven months ago and now it no longer works. I was vacuuming the carpets in my house and the vacuum stopped working. Later that day, I had a friend come over. He told me that the motor had died and I needed to return the product. I can't believe how dissatisfied I am with your company. I feel the cost of the vacuum should be covered with the five year quality. It should be covered because the vacuum was only seven months old and the motor died, not at my fault. I think that this is very poor quality to make the customer pay for an unreliable product. This policy needs to be revised. This product had too short of a warranty and I strongly dislike that I cannot buy more warranty.

I would strongly like to have the company replace my vacuum at no cost. I would also like to have a longer warranty for my new-bought vacuum that your company replaces. I truly believe that the company should revise this product for consideration. I could understand if I had the vacuum for two years and the motor went out, but this was not the case. I was only 1 month over the 6 month warranty. I think an exception should be made and your policy should be reviewed. If other consumers are having issues with this particular vacuum then maybe they should be recalled and everyone should receive a refund. I realize your company is a huge corporation that relies on consumers to trust and buy more products. If Lowes wants to keep this trust then please make the right decision.

Please telephone me to let me know how you would like to deal with this. I've long been a user of your products and up until now have always regarded you are an excellent organization. I have every faith therefore that you will do what you can to rectify this situation. If I do not get satisfaction, I will no longer be using your equipment and I will not refer your store to anyone.

I greatly appreciate your help.

Yours sincerely,
