In this essay, I am going to tell you about Ford trucks versus Chevy trucks. Chevy outnumbers Ford on sales, gas mileage, and diesel truck performance. This will prove why Chevy is better than Ford. Although Fords have good trucks, they just don’t measure up to the Chevy trucks.

When it comes to sales in these truck vehicle manufacturers, Chevy beats out the sales of Fords overall. Chevy sales have surpassed Ford sales over the last couple of years. The main reason Chevy had more sales than Ford is because of the LS engine and because of the style of the truck. I personally think that the Chevy is a better-looking truck when you compare it to a Ford.

In the last couple of years Ford had sales that came very close to the sales of the Chevy. The Fords and Chevy’s were very close when it came down to who sold more vehicles in those two years. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to buying a vehicle. A lot of people are raised to like certain manufacturers and I was raised to like Fords and Chevys but when it comes to facts Chevy beats Ford overall.

When it comes down to prices between these two manufactures Chevy takes the lead in this category also. Chevy tends to be a little bit cheaper compared to the Ford trucks. I think that’s the reason people lean more toward Chevys also because of the prices they can offer you. I personally would rather a cheaper Chevy truck that is factually better than a Ford.

Chevy has always been known to have an outstanding engine in their full-size trucks. The 5.3L V8 in the Chevy Silverado is known to be extremely cheap and easy to put lots of power too. When it comes to muscle cars everyone is doing a 5.3L LS swap in their Ford Mustang or any type of car like it. The 5.3L Chevy engine is being put in tons of older muscle cars in today’s world and is known to be un-killable and extremely cheap to work on. It is the top of the line engine when it comes to the Chevy engine.

Ford on the other hand has the Coyote engine. It’s not a very popular engine when it comes to rebuilding and putting in older cars because of the cost to do so. It is very expensive to make these engines put out a lot of power because they aren’t a very popular motor anymore and they don’t make as many parts for them as they do the Chevy. One of the main reasons this engine didn’t put out as much power as the Chevy LS motor is because it doesn’t have a high enough rev limit.

When it comes to fuel economy, Chevy beats Ford once again. The Chevy truck has better gas mileage across the board. The Ford truck is close on mileage but the Chevy truck takes the win once again. That’s another reason why the Chevy truck is better than Ford. People would rather a truck with better interstate miles per gallon if they travel great distances.

Also, when it comes to diesels, Chevy takes this category also because of the 6.6L V8 Duramax engine. This diesel truck is also very
