In terms of the value of money, I prefer the quarter over the dime. Quarters are better than dimes, not only because they have more value, the quarter weighs more, and is bigger in size. There are also more uses for the quarter than there is for a dime.

A quarter has two and a half times more value than a dime. Inside of a quarter is two dimes and one nickel. With a quarter you can buy twenty-five pieces of penny candy, and with a dime you can only buy ten pieces of penny candy. You can also buy more things with a quarter, such as a quarter bag of potato chips; you cannot buy a bag of chips for only a dime. You would need to dimes and a nickel.

The quarter is also larger than a dime; it also weighs more than a dime. A quarter is twenty-four millimeters in size and weighs 5.670 grams. And the size of a dime is eighteen millimeters, it weighs 2.268 grams. The quarter is 6inches larger than a dime, and it outweighs the dime by a little more than double the weight.

There are also more uses for a quarter, you can use quarters for arcade video games, you can also use quarters at coin operated Laundromats, and many other machines that only use quarters, there are no machines that are operated by dimes only. There is a state mint quarter set, but there is no such collection for dimes.

In conclusion, quarters are better than dimes because they are bigger, quarters are bigger than dimes in height and weight. Quarters have more value than a dime, and there are more uses for a quarter than there is for a dime. Such as use in a washing machine or dryer, or in an arcade video game, and there are no such uses for the dime.
