The phrase "to live is to suffer" directly related to the Hindu and Buddhist teachings and my personal experience of living and suffering. , I will present a basic discussion of the Hindu and Buddhist perspectives on living and suffering, interspersed with some of my own life experiences.

In the Hindu community the phrase to live is to suffer is depicted in the concept (as stated in Molloy) of Upanishads as in Samsara. The term samsara refers to the wheel of life, the constant rebirth and it suggests strongly that the everyday world is full of change as well as struggle and suffering. The Hindu deems human life differently than Christians or other religions in the west because of their belief in reincarnation.

Hindus believe an individual is constantly reborn hence the suffering continues in life whether the suffering occurred previously or not, it will occur in the future life. The westerners, believes our body is real, and that we should grieve and complain for the simplest thing that are not of utmost importance. Therefore we suffer unnecessarily. Seems suffering comes from itself and from us. We cause the unnecessary issues, which occurs because of our beliefs and greeds. We are capable of good as well as evil, since God gave us intelligence and independence. Therefore, we are responsible for the consequences of our actions. The Hindu belief system also includes the belief that our soul, which is immortal goes through endless life cycles. It somehow carries with it an imprint of our past actions. Therefore, suffering of a good person can be the result of actions in past lives. Hinduisms view is simply that when a person suffers in this life they are paying their debt back to the universe to bring balance back to the circle of life. It also holds that a person can experience less suffering in the next life by doing acts of good in the present thus a person's karma. Hindus believe their position in life is based on their actions in a previous life, or lives: The Law of Karma, which from
