1. What changes are occurring recently on the education industry considering MOOC, flipping the education, learning analytics, etc.

Since high quality of MOOC such as Coursera is introduced, people who takes the class through MOOC is increasing dramatically. Differently from previous MOOC, Coursera is produced for online use. So, it offers optimized contents for online education. For instance, it offers 15 minutes long videos considering audience's concentration, and it offers lecture note on screen for user's convenience, and it offers pop quiz, exam and feed back of exam. These all improvement contribute more people to take this online course.

2-1. Do you think the education industry will go through revolutionary changes considering such start-ups as Coursera and Edx?

Yes, I believe such start-ups as Coursera and Edx can make revolutionary changes in the education industry

2-2. Evaluate the impact of these start-ups on education industry.

Online education has a lot of upside potential. Nowadays demands of high quality of education is everywhere, especially the company has strong needs for education. Despite these strong demands, there was a limit for better usage of online education. The limit is that it is boring, and mainly one way instruction, and so on. However, these start-ups offers good environment of online education as well as high quality of contents. So, a lot of education such as employee education for self fulfillment can be replaced by these start-ups. It It is sure that online method can help saving cost and time for both of instructors and audiences. So, it makes possible that one renowned professor give lectures tens of thousands of people at a same time.

3-1. Do you think Coursera will disrupt traditional college education?

Partially, I believe so. I think that traditional college education has to prepare new aspect of education

3-2. If yes, how would you expect this will change college education industry?

At first, a lot of college will be willing to offer online course to the students, especially for foreign students. And college has to compete with each other by the level of lecture quality itself, not by college reputation.

And, this phenomenon makes it possible to run the college with less number of professors. It is because one professor can cover more students than before. It enhance competition between professors

Also, I think that college might have to operate graduate school in two ways. One is face to face lecture for the purpose of cultivating scholars, and the other is online lecture for the students who are interested in self enrichment (such as MBA course)
