A successful ad can be achieved by attracting content, appropriate medium and promising product.
Firstly, the ad content can be classified into different kinds of categories, namely action, humorous, weird, warm and celebrity. It is believed that key objective for ad is conveying message to encourage customers to buy the product. Advertising is very effective on establishing connection between the product and customers by applying attracting content in the ad. Furthermore, ad which is easy to be understood and remembered by audiences and customers is more acceptable than others.
Secondly, there are many kinds of medium available to promote the product, such as indoor display, outdoor billboards, and online video. The nature including population and preferences should be analysed to offer solid evidences on choosing appropriate medium. For example, if product A's target market is office workers who prefer to get information through searching internet rather than watching TV program, high investment on TV ad is not efficient. The reason is most of target segments are failed to be covered by TV ad.
The third criterion is promising product. Quality of product influences the effectiveness of ad, because most ads are created based on real quality of product rather than groundless idea.
