Critical thinking helps us to make important decisions toward our goals. I have been made a couple of critical decisions in my life, one of them which is also the biggest is moving to the States. As I was supporting myself, besides to look for a flat, the first thing I did after landed was to look for a job, and soon realized how difficult and impossible to get a job here as an international student, especially during the bad economy. I've been handcrafting since I was a little girl, I started making jewelry in 2007, and became more and more serious the coming years. The products I designed over the years gained me an opportunity to have a show here. It was exciting and exhausting when under a really tight schedule, I spent an entire night producing all the work needed for the show on the following day until 6 in the morning, ¬¬¬spent hours photographing all the designs after a nap and prepared all the price tags with different pricing before the show start of the night.

The show went perfectly well, a couple of sales were made with good prices during the night, not a lots of money but good success for the night and enough to make me smile for a whole week. The fashion show attracted a much bigger crowd, my designs were sold many times more than the first time, more than that, I met Charleston who's a recognized vivid character in the industry, he gave me his card and told me that he likes my design, we should work something together in the future. I felt like all my hard work was finally started getting paid off.

I was gone for a whole eight months, during the period, I put everything on hold, including my jewelry business. Things changed when you are gone for a long time. I had to find a new apartment, enroll to school again and look for new opportunities, the most importantly, I had to find a job and started having instant income immediately.

All different thoughts and ideas were bouncing in my mind. I always surround myself with creativity, I adore beauty and enjoy the satisfaction of designing unique beautiful things, no doubt that I'll never give up on doing that. Creating and building a business is a money and time consuming process, logic was telling me that I should knock it off, and have a regular income, there are bills to pay and an empty stomach to fill everyday while my heart was telling me, do what you love and live the life you want. In between this I made my plan, after a serious thoughts of what I need and what my options were, I decided to get a job as soon as possible, targeted to a position I'll enjoy doing the most and with a bigger chance to gain in a certain fields. It doesn't
