Marketing can be defined in many different ways. Marketing can change from a basic loom to one with much more profundity. Subsequent to assessing the development of the definition, the idiom can then be positioned with a business to assess its achievement or breakdown with relating marketing tactics. This paper discusses the author's personal definition of marketing along with two different sources. Based on these definitions, the author will explain the importance of marketing in organizational success.

The author believes that Marketing is about identifying and meeting human and social needs. Marketing is an ad Marketing is a brochure. Marketing is a press release. And more recently, Marketing is a Facebook page or a Twitter account. In order for marketing to be effective you have to determine the best route to go about for your company and product and services based on customer needs. Marketing can really be tricky if it is not done correctly, it can either be a hit or a miss. When an individual is trying to market and promote their business they have to take the time to do it right. The author believes that marketing is a key component in every successful business.

Many businesses recognize the significance of marketing. Shimano Inc. captures customer, company, and worldwide advertise (Kotler, 2012). Shimano produces rowing, fishing, and cycling goods (Shimano, 2012). A focal point on the most lucrative division assist exemplifies how this company deals with its market. Shimano cycling stands for about 70-80% of the company's vending (Bicycle Retailer, 2012). This section manufactures goods for instance not only road and mountain bicycles but they also produce key mechanisms used by supplementary produce (Shimano Cycling, 2012). Shimano generates better-quality brakes, wheels, disks and other businesses integrate their bicycles (Shimano Cycling, 2012). Shimano Inc. promotes their products to customers, company, and global markets to control the bicycling supremacy.

Marketing is an assembled file of 4 key mechanisms you wish to put into practice or study for your marketing campaigns. This is referred to as the four Ps. which are Product, Pricing, Placement, and Promotion. Product: How the manufactured goods are put together. In general, the routine of the product/service. Pricing: How the pricing may influence the consumer? Placement: How and where your possible clientele can buy your product/services. Where and how many points of delivery will there be? Promotion: How and where promotion will take place. What will be the costs and incentive of the chosen advertising media's? These four steps make up what marketing consists of. Marketing can make or break a business if it isn't done properly. Marketing is not just something that can be thrown together without any thought or planning.
