First, Maintain effective current strategies

Dell as one of the largest company in the world selling computers provides high quality and low-cost computers for consumers from 18 to 50 years old people. This group of people are interested in new and high technology industry. Further strengthen the current strategy, Cut out the middleman and sell the product cheaper. Offer great customer service by giving the customer exactly what they want. Dell will quickly increase the market share and profit by bearing low risk and cost, also helpful to build up brand image and increase brand awareness.

Second, we suggest Dell to open more experience store, where allowed first-time buyers to get an idea of what Dell has to offer, costumers can try before they buy. Rather than simply selling the product, this kind of person-to-person business is really helpful for sellers to build up a long-term relationship with buyers, and also, figure out what the customers need and want. Actually, dell has already open several this kind of experience stores in US, but majority of people still do not know they have it, so we suggest dell to Do more commercials on low cost social network Media, such as facebook And Twitter, where its target customer spend a lot of time on everyday.

Third, more B2B personal selling, increase personal selling, which provides dell's product a door-to-door service. Offering more convenient and cost effective service and products directly to large businesses and government. Using this strategy, dell bear small risk and also build better brand image.

Last, invest more in R&D, Dell compared to other companies put considerably less money into their R&D. According to Michael Dell, "The Company doesn't go searching for technology as if it were some new compound element chart that hasn't been discovered." "They only spent about 1% on it compared to 5% for HP, 6% for IBM, and 21% for Microsoft." Here is one thing, for example we suggest dell to invest more money to do more research, as we think it will be the future trend, cloud computing, delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices
