Many people have different behavior problems in the world. For years studies have been done to find out whether or not it's passed on from heredity or through hormones. Both Heredity and Hormones can influence an individual's behavior. In the past, most social psychologists would have probably thought differently at least to the genetic and heredity part of the studies. Over the years studies have been done to make people think different. Many have come to believe that our preferences, behaviors, emotions, and even our attitudes are affected, to some extent by our biological inheritance (Buss, 1999). Inheritance refers to the fact that some genetics can be passed from one generation to the next. The hormones are chemical substances that are released by the endocrine glands. The hormones help to regulate bodily activities. Hormones are a part of the Endocrine System. The Endocrine System also includes: Endocrine glands, Hormones, Thyroid glands, Parathyroid's, and Pineal glands. This system is really a major part of the body. The Endocrine System plays an important role in helping to coordinate and integrate complex psychological reactions. This system is very important to our bodies because it is in charge of our body processes than happen slowly cell growth. Our faster body processes are controlled by our body's nervous system. The Hormones in our body's transfer information from one set of cells to another. The difference between heredity and hormones is that our hormone levels can be influenced by certain factors such as stress, infections, and different changes in the balance of fluid and blood minerals. The Endocrine system also helps our body by regulating one's blood sugar, immune system, and our sexual functions. The Endocrine System is an important part of our body and all of its functions. It controls so much in our body and our nervous system
