As we all know coffee is one of the most popular drink in the whole world that has been founded many years ago. While in everyday life, coffee is often made as breakfast companion. Yet, we seldom observe what benefits or negative effects of coffee for our health which at most that we know that after we consume coffee, it will refresh our body and lost the sense of sleepiness.
I was reading an article by Ann Marie "are you still drinking coffee?" She state how bad is coffee for our health I totally disagree with her statement cause modern research has proven that coffee is indeed of great benefit to the body. For example coffee has been found to increase mental alertness; improve short term memory; lower risk of stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease .
In her other statement she mentioned that "caffeine hurts fertility and pregnant women " her statement doesn't have facts The pro-coffee lobby claims that "moderate caffeine consumption (up to 300mg a day) does not affect fertility , or causes adverse health effect in the mother or the child." These findings can be difficult to accurately attribute directly to drinking coffee, as caffeine consumption is often linked to other risk factors such as smoking and alcohol consumption.
Overall, it is true that coffee was really enjoyable for us to consume it regularly. Many people are aware of some of the impacts, however it would not stop them to drink coffee because they are already addicted of it. Drinking coffee sufficiently would not harm our health, but it always good to be aware of things that would impact us because of coffee.
