How does a society know that it has reached the point where economic inequality has become a problem, if ever?
In crafting this essay, please clarify your definition of economic inequality, and acknowledge and refute any counterarguments. Please also consider the processes by which a society might determine that inequality has become a problem. And discuss whether and how American society is unique in this regard. Please defend your arguments using readings from the first 5 weeks of class. Rubric is included on bCourses.
Essay Parameters:
- Papers should be between 3 and 4 pages double spaced, with a 4 page maximum.
- 12-point font
- 1-inch margins
- Please put your student ID in the header of all pages, and do not include your name on the printed document.
- Reference readings and lectures using MLA in text citations, and include a works cited page at the end. Citations and works cited page are not counted towards the page limit.
