Many individuals have different reasons why some people are more intelligent than
others. Opinions about this subject can lead to arguments and even discrimination, depending
on the group you speak with. For my short research paper, I will write my results from a survey I
did with four individuals who gave their opinion about the characteristics of intelligent people. I
also will compare their results to the Howard Gardner theory.
For the survey, I heard many different opinions on the characteristics of intelligent
people. The first person I spoke to said:
"An intelligent person is an individual that is very wise who has gained a lot of

The second person had a different take on the characteristics of intelligent people. This
individual said:

on to achieve different awards. This person can be successful in any area of life because his focus is always being the best. (Personal communication, Jan

The third person I spoke to said:
"Intelligence is a broad term that some take out of context. In my eyes, no one person is more intelligent than others. Every person has a different gift. strictly to school and education results (personal communication, Feb 5, 2011)
Each result from my survey study is unique, and it's
