This is where I'm From

I am from the sun shine state where it is boling hot in the summer.

I am from the place were the trees grow to the tallest peaks.

I am from a place were tree bark is a dark cherry red.

I am from my mothers whomb.

I am from the heart of my father.

I am from a place were the grass gleams with sun light.

I am from a a place were squirrels run across the top of my fence.

I am from the land of the free.

I am from my mother who passed at my young age.

I am from my father who raised me up strong.

I am from a careing and heartwarming family.

I am from two kind caring sisters.

I am from mistakes and addiction.

I am from hard working go getters.

I am from the small house surronded by large ones.

I am from a world of greed and corruption.

I am from a home rooted in love and hate.

I am from faces prone to smile from endless pictures stored in boxes.

I am from going place to place, drifting from places.

I am from summertime popsicles, chlorine hair, diving bords, lakes, and sunburns.

I am from a cluster of relatives who I know nothing about.

I am from madness and perfect moments of clarity. I am not always from wealth, but always from love.

I am from the clouds in the sky, the brightest rays from the sun, the darkest, most moist soil, the wind in the trees, the salty tang of the ocean. I am from life
