Final Case Study

Questions Ducati - Final Case Study

This is an open book, open notes exam. You can use class handouts, notes and textbooks. This is an individual person assignment that is you are obliged to work on your own and do not use any help provided by third parties nor provide such a help. Knowledge of the firm and industry provided in the case study is sufficient to answer questions: you do not need to gather any further information.

Format: 32-33 lines per page.

Page limit: 6 pages for answers to questions plus unlimited pages for assignments.

File format: doc. or pdf files. Assignments: doc., pdf or xls (please format for printing).

If necessary: describe your most important assumptions.

Questions:

1. Please describe three major characteristics of current (according to the case study) strategy of Ducati. (1 page - 10 points)

2. Please analyze the environment of Ducati and describe three-four most important drivers for future strategy. (2 pages - 20 points)

3. Propose the future strategy for Ducati. Discuss, evaluate options and propose the optimal one. Your answer can be based on the options provided in the case or on your own ideas. (3 pages - 30 points)
