Stepping into the classroom, I looked around and my instincts led me to the second row from the front. I sat next to Janet and a boy who had a big smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back at him. Talking very loudly, the teacher introduced the class and then we had to line up for an assembly. During the assembly, I saw many types of faces. There were those who looked nerdy and drowsy. Some seemed to look as if they had been burning the midnight oil for several nights, some looked excited to meet with their friends again and chatted nonstop and of course they were told by the teachers to head to their classes. After the assembly we were taken back to our class to get to know each other. Mr. Swenson called up one of the kids in the back ping into the classroom, I looked around and my instincts led me to the second row from the front. I sat next to Janet and a boy who had a big smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile back at him. Talking very loudly, the teacher introduced the class and then we had to line up for an assembly. After three hours later the lunch bell rang at 12:20 in the afternoon. Janet took my hand and we skipped through the halls to meet up with her friends.
