Thesis: The utilization of genetic engineering (GE) will open the doors opposing medical advancement and force breakthroughs through medical standstills that the world faces in the past, the present and the future; through constant observation and research mankind can unlock the key to our ascension in science.

"Types of Genetic Engineering." The BioFact Report. BioFact, 24 Feb 2006. Web. 11 Apr 2011. <http://www.biofact.com/cloning/>.

This webpage goes over the different types of known GE from past less obtrusive techniques to modern day intervention. This webpage led me to Dr. Hughes' webpage which has been a large help. I'll use this document because I can talk about the evolution of GE through time. Starting from way back working my way to the future explaining each step in the evolutionary process and how it has benefited the world.

Dr. Hughes, James. "A Post-Humanist Defense of Genetic Engineering." Embracing Change with All Four Arms. Changesurfer Radio, n.d. Web. 11 Apr 2011.

This webpage is written by Dr. Hughes Ph.D. who also published "Eubios Journal of Asian and International Bioethics". His credibility on the matter is very large. The webpage has an extraordinarily large bibliography of its own supported by many "Big Guns". This article takes a pro stance.

"What's wrong with genetic engineering (GE)?." GREENPEACE. Greenpeace International, 01 Mar 2011. Web. 11 Apr 2011.

This webpage was put in place by Greenpeace International which by trade is a far left activist group. This page focuses mainly on crops but nonetheless it is still in the overall agriculture debate which involves other market products such as cattle and chickens. This page will be a source that I will refute.

May, Jeff, Jen Franchino, Vinnie Verruto, and Allison Zuckerbrow. Pros of Genetic Engineering . University of Delaware, 15 May 2000. Web. 11 Apr 2011.

This webpage was put up by college students at the University of Delaware. This sort of page's credibility is not all that great. It takes a pro stance on GE but lacks any hard, concrete evidence. I will use it to spark points in my argument but there will be no direct correlation from the page found in my work content-wise.

"Gene Therapy." Human Genome Project Information. genomics.energy.gov, 11 Jun 2009. Web. 11 Apr 2011.
