Gone to Soon

My brother, Edward "Pete" Morgan, suffered from multiple sclerosis and heart failure. These illnesses came from an injury that he had when he was eight years old. My brother was full of life, he loved to be outside, he played sports such as football, baseball, and kickball with the other kids in the neighborhood. He was a very active young boy, he also loved to be under our mother as much as possible, that resulted to us calling him momma's boy. But over the years he illnesses took a toll on his life and cause his health, and care for his family to decrease.

My brother had injured himself one day at school during recess. He was playing on the monkey bars where he had slipped off and hurt his arm. The school called for help and he was rushed to the hospital immediately, there he was told he had broken his arm. My parents were there shortly after the schooled had notified them of what had happen to my brother. He was treated and his arm was put into a splint. Over the weeks of my brother recovery he had to visit the doctor office to have a follow up on his injury .Shortly after the doctor came in and looked at my brother arm he notice that the splint the hospital put on him was too heavy. Because the splint was too heavy for him, it caused his back shoulder bone to poke out from his back.

Due to this mistake it caused my brother shoulder to stick out of his back, and this caused other complication for my brother where his arms would be in so much pain if he tried to raise them in the air. His hands would swell up as well as his elbows and they would have him in so much pain. By the time he was in high school, his shoulder was poking out of his back a whole lot more than it was when he was younger. He was going to the doctor several times out of the month as he gotten older, that's was when he was told that his injury cause his spinal cord to twist because of his shoulder bone caused his skin to twist like a spiral and that was the reason for his spinal cord to make a shift in his body. Shortly after that he was told he had been suffering from multiple sclerosis. He was put on a lot of pain medications which he was not able to work as many hours as he did before.

Meanwhile he tried to live as normal as possible he had gotten him a second job where he was a security guard at the boat it was part-time though. At the age of thirty his had his first child which was a girl this had brought so much joy to his life he finally felt like he had something to live for. He was doing fine and things were looking up for him but several years later his illness started to take a toll on him. He went to go visit the doctor where he was hit with more bad news, he was told that the twist in his body caused his organs on his left side to shirt to his right side of his body, where it was putting pressure on his heart which caused his heart not to work on that side, therefore
