In America there are a estimated 1million men and women behind prison walls. Some of which have committed hideous crimes and some of whom have merely made a bad choice, which cost them dearly. Whichever the case we must not forget them. They have lost their freedom, should they lose their right to be treated a human beings as well? We all have committed the so called white collar crime. Most of those that have received a slap on the hand due to their financial stability. That rule still applies if you have money and assets you have the world at your feet. How is that fair and equality for all? We live in the land of the Free, but are we really free? I don't think so. This is why we must not forget those who are less fortunate as we are. Many of the men and women who have served a great deal of time behind bars will be released back into society without any means to survive on this side of the prison walls forcing them to commit other crimes and return back to prison. That doesn't make what they do right what it says is we as a Nation go to all the Third world countries to help them to rebuild and save the same criminals from themselves, but won't help our own sisters and brothers right in our own back yard. This is just my feeling.
