This article talks about how the American health care system is the most expensive out of any other country per capita on health care. It goes into detail on how medical care was very inexpensive in the 20th century. The evolution began when health care was solely focused on the cost of illness and then forcing the Social Security Act to include health care insurance. The Great Depression caused many issues for Americans, all the way down to salary. Nevertheless, creating a structure pool called Blue Cross and expanding coverage, creating group coverage which was the first health maintence organizations (HMO). Though this, by the 1960’s, 75 percent of Americans had coverage through some type of private insurance but there were still come individuals who were not able to afford insurance, which lead to the evolution of Medicare and Medicaid. Other parts of Medicare and Medicaid were added leading into the 21st century. Shortly sometime after, congress deliberated in revisions of the health care system in the United States that will lead to a new law.

This article speaks about the evolution of health care system focus on employee staff. This article particular focuses on nurses who carry extra weight and are paid less for more task. They are becoming burned out some hospital find the turnover rate alarming. The nursing demand has increased astronomically, and the article leads into new ways that health care can save and spare nurses. It talks about expanding the idea to have nurses become more mobile, and to do work outside of the hospital, preventing admission and other demanding care. This article gives suggestions on how this can be achieved, the challenges, suggested outcomes, etc.

This article gives a physical and explanatory break down of the evolution of the health care system in American. It starts from the beginning of time and gives specific information of our health care system when our nation was discovered. The article is based around breaking down timeframes in which certain evolutions occurred. The evolution was thought to be divided into six historical periods. These periods are: the charitable era, the origins of medical education era, the insurance era, the government era, the managed care era, and the consumerism area. Each era is broken down by description and is well explained to give the conclusion that these era’s happened, even though other annotated bibliographies may have a different theory.
