Problems
Macro:
The Organizational Development program's low level of acceptance in the organization. Some members of the OD group are unhappy with the current situation. And the not-so-wide acceptability of the OD
group and the general feeling that the group and its activities were
wasting company money.
Micro:
The division of beliefs within the group, which led to misunderstandings, and evaluation of training program produced mixed reactions. Kay was to an

resentment among the group. There was a difference in the personal
styles also.
Causes:
Company culture is not one to implement changes in such fast pace. Zoltan's seeming favor towards the two older members of the OD group the decision to place the OD program under the human resources department

system was that the group members who felt that they were earlier
reporting to the president now had to report to Paul Blake and that the
reporting would take place through Don Morgan. This change is perceived

Technical system: was that some of the members thought that the client

and now for all practical purposes the HRD department emerged as the
client. In addition Kay had acted as the self appointed contact person
for the group but the suggestion of the company managers was that Don
