Promotion

Promotion strategies of this HI STYLE company is by advertising and sales promotion. They use advertising as a one way mass communication about a product or organization that is paid for the marketers. By using this way, they will able communicate to large number of people in one time and get their feedback in a short time. This store also do a lot of sales promotion aas their promotion strategies. For example during festive season, Hari Raya sale, Chinese New Year and etc.

They advertise by using pamphlet, outdoor media and internet. Outdoor media that they use such as billboards and signs, but above all this, they advertise a lot in internet at their official website page that is (www.histyle08.com/).

Sales promotion that they use is loyalty marketing programs that is they focused on growing and retaining existing customer through incentives.

Market segmentation

Market segmentation used by Hi Style is demographic segmentation and psychographics segmentation. Demographic segmentation used by Hi style is gender because they provide products to women but also for men. For psychographics segmentation, they used it to reach their customer. The basis that they using is personality basis that reflect individual traits, attitudes and habits. Lifestyle also reflect a person attitude, interest and opinion towards the product.

Strategies for selecting targeting markets that they used is concentrated strategies to select target market and their mix strategies which can eventually they be more understand on the needs, want and satisfaction of their customer.

They use variety of positioning which include user and product class. Hi stlye position their products according to the type of product. For example, different product have different style for different types of user such as men and women.
