"Today we have a new student," exclaimed Mrs. Peterson the Xweetok happily! "Her name is Inspiration,". As soon as I heard her name I looked up. My name is Faith. I have always wanted a uniqe name like Inspiration, but my parents just said to be happy with what I have. Maybe she'll become my friend. I didnt have much friends except for MaryEllen who mostly just hung out and played basketball with the other Xweetoks. As I examined Inspiration I heard a bunch of mean people say that Inspiration was a horrible name. It was pretty mean but I was considered the shy girl in class and didnt talk very much. "You will be sitting next to Faith today," said Mrs. Peterson as she motioned toward the desk next to me. "Uhhhhmm okay," said Inspiration. Inspiration walked to the seat next to me briskly. As soon as she sat down I said hi but she didnt say anything. I thought she didnt hear me so I said hi again. I gave up on saying hi and just got back to work, but a few minutes later I saw the words ello person scrawled on a piece of paper. Hmm not the talkative type I thought to myself. I continued doing my work but then the lunch bell rang. I got up but dropped all my books. I blushed as I tried to gather them all up. "Cya later Faith," Inspiration said to me. I looked up and the last thing I saw was Inspiration rushing out the door. How did she know my name? I never told her? I barely knew her? I pushed the thought away out of my head and brought up a new thought. I had nothing to eat for lunch. I decided to just stay in the classroom for lunch. I sat down in my seat and pulled out a book, but as soon as I sat down the door shut lowdly. The whiteboard had two words scrawled on it. The words were: Chosen One. I saw a ghostly figure appear in front of me. It had black hair, wore all black, and had a pale skin color. She looked so freaky and scary that I would have laughed when I saw she was wearing a rainbow cowboy hat. "My name is Jade," the ghostly figure said with a cold voice. If voices had colors then I would describe her voice as a dark and cold white. I was to scared to speak and felt the urge to run out of the window, but I was afraid she would throw spikes at me or something. I managed to say "W-w-who a-a-are y-y-you, Im n-n-not the chosen one, Im b-b-barely anyone in this class, no one notices me," "This is no mistake," she said looking straight at me with her pure gold eyes "You shall be what you are destined for," All of a sudden everything disapeared in a grey explosion and all that was left was a little black charm. Something I wold remember for my whole life and something my life would be depending on... The next day I ran down the block to school. I had a horrible dream about Jade. I hated nightmares and I really needed to know what all this stuff meant. MaryEllen wasnt the person to tell. If I told something to her, she would tell everyone, she would even tell some cows. I decided to tell Inspiration when I got to know her better. She seemed realy nice unlike most people in my class. The school day went fast by but strange things happned to Inspiration. She seemed fine with it as if she went through it everyday. I saw MaryEllen looking at me strangely. She pointed to my arm. I examined my arm but saw nothing. I had to go see what it was so as soon as the teacher turned her back on the class and wrote stuff on the whiteboard I quietly kneeled down and started crawling towards the door. People stared at me as I moved towards the door. I mouthed the words "Going to see whats on my arm," to MaryEllen who seemed to have got the message. She raised her hand and asked to go to the nurse. I waited at the door behind Tom's desk and as soon as MaryEllen opned the door I walked through as silent as a snail. "Thanks," I said to MaryEllen who nodded her head silently and walked towards the nurses office. Was there something going on to MaryEllen to? She usually talked a lot and told many jokes? I ignored what happned and ran toward the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror. It was then I noticed the stamp on my arm. It looked like to letter Cs with thier backs to each other, and thats when my life started falling apart. When I got back to class Mrs. Peterson looked at me wildly. "Where have you been young lady," she nearly screamed at me. I was a horrible lier and my mind was racing with excuses. Then my head came up with five words. "I was taking MaryEllen to the nurses office," I lied. "Ya know how you always want us to take someone with us when we go to the nurses office," I said proudly. "Oh, yes but next time ask first," she said. I took my seat but Inspiration looked weird. Like she was invisible almost. "Inspiration are you okay,"? I asked trying to make a good impresion. She looked at me with a blank but surprised face. "You can see how im fading away,"!? she said quietly. "Of course, im not blind," I said. "Oh my, y-y-y-your the chosen one," she said without giving me eye contact. "Follow me today after school. I will show you how to get rid of Jade," said Inspiration. How did she know? Had she been haunted by Jade too? All of this was supposd to be coming together like a puzzle, but all it did was just get farther and farther away from the answers to all my questions. Before I could object to what Inspiration had said the dismissal bell rang and Inspiration ran straight ahead, and I had no choice but to follow. She was taking me toward the basement. Oh well I thought. This better be good. When we got to the basement she walked right through the wall. "Come on," she said. I stuck my hand through the wall and it actually went through. I moved my feet and then finally stuck my whole body through the wall. Inside was a long hallway. I ran through it with Inspiration at my side. I could start to see the end of the tunnel. I could barely see through the fog a lady. As I got closer I could see more of her. I finally got close enough and I could see who she was....Jade. "You probaly have NO idea whats going
