6. Discuss how technology has changed jobs in an organization where you have worked. What are some HR responses to those changes?
Technology has changed many jobs across the world. Some would say for the better. As an operations manager in a small business environment at an insurance company, computer technology has advanced our system for the best in increasing our cliental. In the last 6 years I have seen dramatic changes in our system that is making our job easier and more effective. We have more time to focus on selling our insurance products and less time auditing our files. It is an instant response for a faster quote to our prospects. For example for many of us it is such a easier task to pay online our insurance bill than going into the office to make a payment that would just take 2 minutes but drive 10 minutes to arrive at the location. All technology is evolving swiftly that it is changing our lifestyle every year.
10. What is the process to use for identifying the components of the HR strategic planning process?
The process to use for identifying the components of the HR strategic planning process is to define the organizational strategy and allocating resources toward its triumph. The process involves several chronological steps that focus on the future of the business. It begins with an assessment of the current state of the business during its cycle. Steps are organizational mission is the core reason for the existence of the organization and what makes it unique. SWOT Analysis known as its strengths and weaknesses are often internal to your organization, while opportunities and threats usually relate to external factors. Establish goals and objectives to attentively ensure actions are carried out. It would be an eminence issue in the workplace for new and exciting opportunities to arise. Formulate organizational strategy and formulate supporting functional strategies will give ideas to best approach the goals and strategies to achieve those goals. Implementing and evaluating the planning activities and status of implementation of the plan is important as identifying strategic issues and goals. Ensure the direction is established during strategic planning. The continuation to monitor and assess the planning is important on how well it is managed and continued.
