I Was Always Interested in Art

I was always interested in art, I didn't know much about the history of it but there was always something that dove me to it, I really like drawing, and designing or sketching clothes, I know no one sees them but one day they just might.

I loved and enjoyed my time in art class because I had the opportunity to learn how art became to be, what inspires artist to do what they do, every week there was always something new to learn, this class gave me ideas of the basic movement and key artist so that I can learn to appreciate art, I have gained an understanding of many of the art works of the world throughout history. I am now able to apply theories of art and be able to extend upon that knowledge by developing a critical eye with enhanced visual literacy I am now also able to use terms to describe art materials supplies techniques and historical context in art.

This class taught me to appreciate many styles, forms of expression, and creative concept of individual and collective affords in western and no-western civilizations form folk art to high art, also it taught me that art appreciation is the knowledge and understanding of the universal and timeless qualities that identify all great art

This class gave me knowledge and understanding about the art from different areas, movement styles and techniques the more I learn about this the more I would be able to develop evaluate and improve my own work

Furthermore I am now also able to analyze the social and political influences on art production I can recognize specific works of art the media used to produce the end identify the artist of each work

this class taught me so much and it opened my eyes, art works have many meaning depending on how you look at it, and now I can tell how the artist was feeling or what he was thinking when he/she was creating the art work, I was able to explore many different art, from art painting to sculptures to fashion as well and that's what identify with.

I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who would like to start creating their own art work, I learned a lot and I don't regret taking this class,
