Individuals Show Fear

Individuals show fear when they are uncomfortable or scared, however when people stand up and face their fear, they show courage. In John Marsden's novel "Tomorrow, When the War Began, he used various characters to show different types of courage. Although many people usually don't realise it, people demonstrate courage every day. The word "courage" does not have to mean being in the army or being firemen, even the tiniest little things can show courage, like eating a whole spoon of wasabi. In "Tomorrow, When the War Began each character showed different types of courage however Fiona Maxwell showed the most courage out of the characters in the text.

Nobody is born a leader, however it takes a lot of courage to be one as you have to make big decision, not know what they consequence are .at the start of the novel homer was described as a trouble maker who loved playing Greek roulette, however throughout the book, he demonstrated that he wasn't some troublemaker but a leader who knew what to do. When the going gets tuff homer can come up with a good plan, for example when he told the group to split up to get everything ready and to go to hell, "that was Homer's genius. He combined action with thought, and he planned ahead."
