My investor profile: A well established millionaire who worked his way up in the world. He lives in New York, financial capital of the world, and he is one of the most successful business owners there. So in order to diversify his investments he wants to build a portfolio to enable him to invest in companies other than his own. He is 40 years old, young and willing to take the numerous risks that the markets hold. While he wants to be aggressive in investing in the markets, he still wants his investments to well placed and reasonable. He is a believer in American traditional companies which is why I will be try to embody that in his portfolio.

From the way I see things, now is a good time to invest in stocks, since the Fed are pushing for quantitative easing and the value of the dollar is going down and stocks are rallying across the board. Hence, for the short term, I believe that stocks will keep on rallying with the help of QE. Moreover, when the Fed will start aiming for exist strategies from the stimulus they have been pumping in the economy, stocks will also continue to grow. It is important to note, however, that not everything will go up and we all know the risk of investing in the markets. However, I also believe that when the fed will stop the QE, the dollar will rally and hence the stocks, because the economy would have recovered and taken a boost from this stimulus and I think an exit strategy will be a good sign that the economy is back on track. So in both cases, it's a win win situation for stocks and I believe now is a good time to tackle the markets and start investing.

We should keep in mind, however, where we are now on the business cycle. The economy is in a recovery mode and of course it's going to be a long way back and there will be some swings in the markets as we all know. I believe now is good time to be holding stocks, and I will start by investing in 3 or 4 companies and I won't use all the cash available. There should be around $700,000 cash that I will be looking to invest later in the year due to another opportunity which could come up. I might also want to average my prices if my stocks go down, or buy more from the same company.
