The past 5 weeks have flown by. In this course I have learned a whole bunch of things. I was really nervous when I started this online college thing because I thought it was going to be a lot more challenging. Sometimes it was and others it was fairly easy. I know as I go on with my degree it's going to get harder. I'm so glad I had a chance to take this class before getting into one of my core classes. This was truly an eye opener for me. I really didn't think I was going to do it. Now that its week 5, I'm feeling more comfortable.
One thing that I learned was how to post things and interact with other class mates. I sure had some good classmates that helped me learn. Another thing that I learned was how to write a paper all over. When I was in high school I didn't have the confidence to write a paper. But know that I have gotten older, I really see myself more focused. This class has truly brought out good things is in me. But knowing that if I didn't do what was asked that my grades would reflect. How can I be a positive role model for my kids if I'm not passing? So it was imperative to do my very best.
One thing that I still need to work on for the next course is paying attention to detail. Sometimes I find myself not reading thoroughly all the instructions. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I know that I can do it. Things that I will continue doing, is meeting my deadlines. Not going to wait until the last minute to finish the work. I have to plan out what my assignments are and portion the class out each day so everything isn't done all at once. I think I did a good job with meeting my timelines, but there is always room for improvement.
