The definition of globalization is the closer integration of the world economy through the flows of good, services, capital, and labor across borders. I believe that globalization is not a dirty world. Globalization should be embraced by the world and encourages capitalism. It allows for products and jobs to be done more efficiently and effectively.

Globalization gives the consumer the upper hand in the marketplace. It allows more companies to compete in one particular market. Globalization makes products more readily available and cheaper to purchase by the consumer. The consumer is given more options in price and quality of products through globalization. Many more companies can compete throughout the world in order to win consumers over with their products or services.

Developing countries, along with industrialized countries, have experienced many advantages through globalization. It creates many new job markets through the world and allows companies to hire employees halfway around the globe. Globalization helps developing countries gain capital and create jobs in a competitive global market. Even though some jobs are lost and outsourced because of globalization, it still allows for the product to be made the most efficiently and effective way.

Globalization helps to improve relations between the countries of the world. Buying and selling between countries helps to strengthen their relationship and creates more friendships than enemies. In a global market, each country is dependent upon the other for resources, services, products, etc. Globalization is a huge factor in preserving the peace in the world and bettering countries friendly relationships.

I believe that over time globalization will satisfy the needs even of its opponents. Many environmentalists believe that globalization is harmful and dangerous to the environment. Through the WTO and other organizations, the fear of environmental destruction from globalization will soon disappear. In the past decade the world has become more environmentally conscience than ever before. I do not believe that the people of the world would allow the earth to be destroyed without first implementing strict environmental regulations on businesses throughout the globe.

Globalization is a great advancement in mankind. It has allowed countries to flourish and technology to soar. It has created a better lifestyle for many throughout the world and has helped the consumer greatly. Globalization encourages capitalism and allows world economies to thrive.
