Justice is the quality of being just and fair. However, I think justice is the act of doing the right thing. But there seems to be a lot of mistakes on what's just. Everyone has their own thoughts about justice. People's opinions on justice are not always righteous.

Justice is not defined as the people's opinion. In the movie Oxbow Incident, the three men weren't even put into a real trial, which shows that no justice was shown. If the three men were put into a trial with a judge and a jury, than they might have not been lynched, but they rushed a trial and showed no justice in it. The three men should have had a jury and a real court case to decide if they should have been punished or not.

There are always mistakes when it comes to justice. In the movie Oxbow Incident, the three men were hanged and charged guilty when they came out to be innocent. The people had their own opinions and rushed into a fake trial and decided on a punishment without evidence. If the people waited for a court case than the real justice would have been served.

In many cases, justice is not fair. Rushing into a trial can lead to a mistake in justice. I think people should hold trials longer and let hard evidence prove the point. The hard evidence should show the fair justice instead of mistaken it. There should have been a court case. Justice is misunderstood because of people's opinions. Thus, there is not a legitimate definition for justice.
