K-pop and its industries arouse not only individual problems but also social problems. Our house strongly believes that K-pop is harmful to society.
The opposition side stated that K-pop brings social harmony between various people. This makes sense. However, K-pop creates harmful effects like social isolation and quarrels rather than making the social harmony. According to the weekly news shows how K-pop affects the teenagers and people who like it. From the report, more than 50% of the teenagers' conversation in the school is about K-pop and singers. And most people who like k-pop and specific singer create the 'fandom' with others who like the same singers or k-pop style. The 'fandom' is the fan club in specific organizations such as schools, work places and concerts. As this 'fandom' forms close connection among its members, other people in schools or work places could feel isolation. Especially, in school, this isolation gets intense, and develops into bullying and outcasts. The fandom not only has the trouble of the alienation but also the quarrels in the specific organizations. Most schools have the various fandoms since many students have different preferences in style of songs and singers. These fandoms often conflict and curse at each other with the supporting of their favorite singers and comparing them with other singers. This trouble also arouse in the concerts. In 2010, there was 'Dream Concert' which invited most idol singers in Korea. In the stadium, forty-thousand fans had fought for taking more seats and had cursed each fandoms before the concert started. These conflicts intensify when the concert began. As 'Girls Generation' came out, some fandoms turned off their nightglow-sticks and keep silence until the performance finished. These show how k-pop brings harmful effects to people not the social harmony.

Through these songs, most foreigners who do not know well about Korean culture could believe everything about Korea as described in the K-pop songs' lyrics and music videos. One cable channel in Korea went to England to introduce the Korean culture, and to investigate what part of K-pop does impress foreigners. Among those who participated on this program, most answered 'allowing the abusive language with many specific words in songs that most children admire and like to listen'. Some of them used those languages in k-pop songs and took them as one of Korean cultures before they knew those words are abusive
